And some of those are now following the US model where *if* the script is good enough they will promote it to their industry clients.<br /><br />I'm now on two of those schemes and have had several requests for reads from agents and a director/producer meeting (the results of which are yet to emerge). So it can work but you have to be good enough.<br /><br />But I agree with Bitter, it's a bonus.<br /><br />I went through a phase of "trying to get an agent" but they aren't really there to get you work, yes they open doors but in the end it's still just you, so I think it's mostly wasted effort.
