It's almost time for the yearly challenge known as Script Frenzy. Each participant has 30 days to complete a 100 page screenplay. That's only 3 pages a day!
Who's participating this year? It sounds like a great way to get motivated to finish a project.
Speaking of motivation, a few years ago, I wrote a motivational piece for the participants. You can find it here.

I'll be in it, but not working on a feature (animated web series scripts instead) so I won't hit the 100 page mark this year. I'll set my own goal.
ReplyDeleteIt's cool that this year people in Melbourne are using the forum, and we've been challenged by Utah too, so there are some fiery words and garbled wrestler threats to maintain the motivation.
BSR, you've just gotten me to get off my behind and I'm really glad that you suck at math.
ReplyDeleteBitter, I'm pretty sure I found you through that Script Frenzy post. Time sure flies. Last couple years, I took a stab at it but I tried adaptations which were...terrible. Now, after a couple years in college, more independent research, I can actually get into the mindset of a completely original 100 pages. Haven't signed up yet for this year, but we'll see if I can balance school with it.
